With the release of o3-mini (and beyond), it’s clear the barriers (time, cost, domain expertise, etc.) to building a company are in a literal freefall. The challenge is no longer, “Can I build it?” but rather, “Should I build it?” After each sprint comes a paralyzing period of impasse. Lately, I'm increasingly starting to believe that the best approach to determining what to build isn’t being a contrarian (or whatever school of thought is in vogue). The best approach might be as simple as building for the people/communities you love ❤️
