A professional update: I’m stepping down as CEO of @LocalSolana as of next week. We’re also winding down @openpeer_xyz next month. It’s been a grind for the past 3 years and as much as the overall regulatory outlook has improved, building a decentralized P2P exchange especially in the markets we target still carries too much of a risk in order to fund and build LocalSolana into what I envisioned it could be. That being said, I started this journey to carry the torch after @LocalBitcoins and @LocalCryptosEN shutdown. I still believe P2P is critical infrastructure thats necessary to decentralize in the places where crypto has the largest impact, whether that be as a venture-scale protocol or a public good. @GeorgeDonnelly will be taking the lead from next week to continue to develop, launch and grow LocalSolana. I’ll be cheering from the sidelines along with taking a bit of a break before figuring out what’s next. Not bye but see you in the trenches 👊

Conflicted because if I sell my fartcoin I can say I paid for my wedding with fartcoin profits But also I would have to sell my fartcoin before it goes to $10 (hot air rises)

Fiancé sat our guests down last night and forced them to watch unfunny youtube videos about fartcoin. As I saw their unimpressed faces whilst my fiancé sat laughing at fart noises played over the fartcoin chart I felt my last egg wither and die.

"Regulated" stablecoin remittance products are all the rage in Solana circles these days, so I tried one: - Sent USDC into one to see if it'd work to pay a bill back in Australia - Didn't support the right transfer type so withdrew the USDC back to my wallet - Insta banned due to "current regulations and their risk appetite" I swear half these products say they're trying to solve remittances in emerging markets but are operated by turbo cucked normies who'll debank you as much as the old guard

IMO without the massive increases in migration and public sector employment most of the west outside the US would be in full blown depression Bitcoin and USD are the only monetary assets you want to hold

@GeorgeDonnelly Japan 1+4 would be utopia US is in the special position where it generally attracts the most skilled immigrants because of lower taxes and more opportunity Canada is 2+3, lower tier immigrants than the US given lower opportunity, way higher taxes and relative cost of living
