While this scene might bring warm, fuzzy feels, best to leave the cuddling to our North American porcupines and their pumpkins. 📸 Keeper Bridget #StoneZoo #pumpkins

There's nothing spooky about pumpk-enrichment season! 🎃 🦇 The straw-colored fruit bats at #FPZoo were treated to some gourds recently, but fruit was still their fave. These furry fliers can eat up to twice their body weight in fruit each day! 📹 Keeper Natalie

Chaggah, this beloved potto, passed away earlier this month @ 33yo. He was the oldest potto living in North American zoos—a testament to the devoted care he received at #FPZoo . Next time you visit, say hello to Joey as she settles in to her new home.

Quick update on Maple & Willow: Both have settled in beautifully to their temporary space. While they remain in routine quarantine, they're enjoying lots of enrichment—like "fishing" for frozen fish. We know you can't WAIT to see them at #StoneZoo . Soon, promise!

Reminder: #FPZoo is CLOSED today, Tuesday, 2/28, due to the snowstorm. Stay warm & see you soon! Heated rocks installed in some of our exhibits—like this stately prominence in the African #lion habitat—help many of our animals stay nice and toasty in #winterweather .
