Thanks for having me on @gnoble79 - funny how time flies. I remember talking about China in your Boston office in 2000. And 25 years later, still doing the same. Incidentally, the Chinese authorities started to step in to the equity market a year ago. There was much skepticism and most wanted to fade the move (and still do…). But how many realize that the FXI is up 55pc since then?

Global inflation here we come
Global Central Bank Update: -India cut rates for the first time in 5 years, 25bps move down to 6.25%. -Mexico cut rates by 50 bps to 9.50% (6th cut). -Bank of England cut rates by 25 bps to 4.50% (3rd cut). -Czech Republic cut 25 bps to 3.75% (9th cut).

@BaillieGifford 13F out and added to $PDD in Q4 2024 They own c. 3.7 billion USD (3% of the entire company). It's a 3% weighting in their fund (#9th largest)

@Maksim_P_M Are you sure GDP growth for EU countries has been pretty anemic over the last decade I’m just looking at the companies and on the ground views of what youth are doing And it’s all negative lol They’re cheap but not necessarily super productive if I had to guess

God having a strong passport is such a hack Being able to live visa free for 3-6 months (basically indefinitely) For like 200 countries Is fucking AMAZING If I get wiped due to $PDD I’ll always have that lol
