It’s not often these days that I have a girl’s night out but I wasn’t expecting to wake up in bed fully clothed, contacts still in with last night’s smeared makeup all over my face. Feel like death warmed up! I’m 51! When will I ever learn??? 🥴

How? Winter was freezing cold, as was Spring and summer came and went again in June. Apart from a week or two in August and September, I spent the vast majority of the year shivering under a brolly!

When I bought my first house in the mid 90s at high interest rates, on low wages I was entitled to absolutely nothing as a single, child free person apart from a measly 25% reduction in council tax. That focused me on getting a better paid job rather than seeking handouts.

My husband has set up a friends group called Meat Appreciation Society - MAS for short. They take it in turns to host and the sole purpose is to eat red meat and drink fab red wines. They even have a MAS coat of arms printed on polo shirts! 🥩 🍷 ❤️🙌🏼

This is my pet hate at the moment. Last year without the vaccines, it was a mild illness for the vast majority. How can you possibly calculate your odds of being hospitalised as so high when stats overwhelmingly suggest the opposite. 🤦🏼♀️

So lucky to have Tatton Park on the doorstep. I know I should be pumping iron until I can’t straighten my arms and do HIIT classes to see results but every second of that 7 mile walk was pure bliss, especially when I’m stuck behind a laptop Mon-Fri! Dog loves it too!

I’m peri menopausal. I intermittent fast most days, I’ve massively reduced my wine consumption and recently got a dog who I’m walking all the time. I’ve lost fuck all in weight. It’s not as simple as that. One size does not fit all!

We just had a really shit meal experience at a local restaurant. We not only received both courses on top of each other (pet hate) but the waiter also took him upon himself to tie a bib around my neck unsolicited! Oh and the mussels were overcooked and loaded with salt! 🤢

True, apart from a few masked up loons outdoors, it’s refreshingly normal over there. Also good to walk past somebody in the street without them feeling the need to leap out onto the road to avoid contact.

How??? Exactly how many healthy women between the ages of 25-40 have died of Covid? There’s a minuscule risk of dying of Covid. Far more likely to experience an adverse reaction from having the jab.

The question we should be asking is whether they died of Covid or tested positive with Covid. Are these fit and healthy vaccinated people admitted to hospital with Covid symptoms or elderly sick people dying of heart disease or dementia testing positive after hospitalisation?
