@GeodesRock49 Yes, great point. This is most of the reason it can’t be sold for less than market at worst. I’ve seen it done where operator owns minerals, even in that scenario it’s lucky to break even.

@SGBarbour Appreciate the genuine responses, Steve. You're obviously well versed. My sticking point is it's not worth my time to divert attention and resources if the first item to start is giving the gas away. These resources are very expensive to find

@very_crude This is the last unmentioned of the downside, and it might be the biggest. No serious oil co would give the gas away, allow an unknown third party to bring in equip, and allow their oil production to be affected. Would be simpler to buy the bitcoin if we wanted it that bad

@DavidBranscum That’s kinda the point. It’s more akin to a child’s lemonade stand if you can’t afford the materials and need them given to you to make it work

@DavidBranscum @BJJames23 It’s more to prove it’s an uneconomical business. If you can’t afford the gas to run the generator it’s a non starter. I find oil for a living. I assure you I don’t need any help on a business model that entails a generator and some miners
