After Fajr my mom gave me the craziest look and made duaa for me like I did something really bad. No explanation nothing. I realized 5 mins later that I prayed with my airpods on😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
MY DEBUT ALBUM- DUNYA, will be out on the 27th September.. There are no words for how this album has held me, there are less words for how the world let me go as I wrote it. Dunya in all its illusion. Album cover by Renell Medrano. Pre-order here :
I refuse to believe that Al Shabab is just random murderers who target random people. They’ve killed so many innocent people and it’s always important people among those innocent people. People who wanted good for Somalia and were working for changes
• In one minute you can recite Surat al-Fatihah 3 times. Some scholars said that the reward for reading al-Fatihah is more than 600 hasanahs, so if you read it 3 times you will gain more than 1800 hasanahs – all of that in one minute.
Somali excellence!
Hani Hussien, a Somali-American, is pursuing a military career in the United States as she undergoes training to join the Navy Air Force (USAF). Her dedication reflects the excellence of Somali women in diverse fields, including the armed forces.
5 - Memorize and keep asking the dua’ taught by Our Beloved Prophet ( ﷺ): “Allaahumma innaka ‘afuwwun tuhibb al-‘afwa fa’affu ‘anni” (O Allaah, You are forgiving and You love forgiveness, so forgive me)
1 - Do not let your performance until now affect your last 10 days. The moment of forgiveness could be today or anytime in the coming days! It’s not all lost! If you sincerely wish it could have been better – Chin up and get ready to make it your best yet Inshaa Allah!
• In one minute you can recite Surat al-Ikhlaas 20 times. Reciting it once is equivalent to one-third of the Quran. If you read it 20 times it’s equivalent to reading the Quran 7 times.
2 - Today, take a little time to read the Tafseer of Surah al-Qadr to understand what actually happens this night! You will feel its power & greatness so much more!
May Allah ﷻ forgive all our sins and grant us Jannatul Firdaus! Don’t forget to include in your duaas the brothers and sisters around the world who are suffering and in grief❤️
10 - This is not the nights to tweet or post insta stories about how amazing the night is and how you are feeling & worshipping Allah! Let that be a secret between you & your Lord! Disconnect from the world, and connect with Allah ﷻ!
3 - Don’t wait for the 27th Night to give it your “all”. The entire last 10 days should be your target. Stay up each night! Think of every night in the last 10 days as a possibility that it could be Laylatul Qadr
—Allah SWT already knows what is in your heart, but wants you to ask Him for what you want. The Prophet ﷺ said: “Allah is angry with those who do not ask Him for anything.” [Tirmidhi]. We should always ask Allah SWT no matter to what we are dealing with.
6 - Prepare a short dua’ list. Remember this is as awesome as it ever gets for a servant of Allah! The Night of Qadr, of Destiny! Consciously pick each and everything you crucially wish for in this dunya, in your deen, family, and in your aakhirah!
Imagine that man sat in a mosque to be able to read The Quran and some us know how to read it but don’t even open it (including me). Let’s find some time for Allah’s words every day and make reading The Quran a part of our life Inshaa Allah. May Allah SWT make it easy for us all
• In one minute you can say Subhaan Allaahi wa bi hamdihi (Glory and praise be to Allah) 100 times. Whoever says that in one day will be forgiven for his sins even if they are like the foam of the sea.
hooyo just called me and asked how fast i could book a ticket to somalia for my little brother. when i asked her why she said when he came back home from school he asked her ”kii i dhalay aaway?” 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭💀💀💀💀💀💀💀💀💀💀💀
1 - Ask Allah SWT for help and make duaa: Turn each anxiety, fear and concern into a duaa. Look at it as another reason to submit to Allah and be in prostration, during which you are closest to Allah —
Bonus tip: Keep husn adh-dhann bi Allah (good expectations from Allah). When you ask, remember you are asking the Most Generous. If you hope for the best, He will give you the best. Don’t hold back and put your trust in Him
12 - The last 10 days might be tiring. You might still have work or school. This is the time to bear all that hardship, and keep firm sabr. Think how Allah has blessed you with this tremendous opportunity that might NEVER come again in your life again
7 - Take brief naps during the day, if possible. Keep your stomach light and sleep as soon as you have prayed Isha. Do not delay! After a brief nap, refresh yourself and get ready for worship
