"Consider the 5-year-old boy I met on Friday. He’d been sitting in a caged area for nearly a day with older children he didn’t know; nobody told him where his mother was or what would happen to him" - @MichaelBochenek.

This is unacceptable. These children went to school today because the authorities urged people to resume their activities, despite the announced protests. Yet the same authorities put the children at risk. School grounds are not battlegrounds! @Martinez_Elin @ZamaHRW @KippenbergJ.
#Mozambique 🇲🇿: panic broke out at the Castro Teofilo school in #Tete as riot police, in pursuit of anti-government protesters, reportedly threw tear gas grenades on the school ground.
