Started the farseer trilogy then getting into The memoirs of lady trent series next I think. These should keep me invested for the next month or two at work

Still overall I greatly enjoyed the first 2 books in the series and give the trilogy a 3.8/5. I 100% feel it’s worth the read. It does delve into things with morality that I loved. Endings rarely satisfy everyone. But the journey was great and I’ll miss the characters

I feel like I barely spent any time with the main characters in this book. The big climactic scene just did not feel worth all the build up. I found myself more satisfied with how a side characters story concluded rather than the main characters despite how much more I loved them

Finished The Toll & sadly feel it was the weakest of the series. I know not everyone is going to be happy with how a series ends but that wasn’t my only issue. For as much as the story was trying to do it felt too crammed for a single book

Time to start the final book

Hope the final book is a strong end to the trilogy

So far the arc of Scythe series has been a solid 4/5 stars. First book had some tropes I thought i would not enjoy but it was done really well. Great villain it really makes you hate him. The audiobook also really makes the emotional moments really hit
