@DANYO_SON That’s interesting! I haven’t seen that, but could see Bob having a specific archetype he covets based on the direction of the NBA playing style.

@blakekimball @jharlen00 Lowkey v much agree. I think he (unfortunately) needs to be the fall guy though, and hopefully, lends itself to an opportunity to recalibrate how Mat involves himself. Might be wishful thinking though.

@ADub188 Don’t forget, Sarver is also responsible for not extending Ayton after he balled out on our finals run, creating a rift. His redemption period, was still full of grossness. I’m also hopeful for Ishbia though, and agree he seems open and willing to always figure it out.

@j_breazy @blakekimball I agree. Defer to your team. Stepping in should be the exception, not the norm.

@blakekimball True. I think a lot of his attributes can be strengths. But, I hope he’s self aware enough to reflect on how this is going 3+ years in and puts people & checks in place. Replace JJ at the minimum with an experienced voice.

Man, it is always meant to be this way. Different faces same story; Lakers gifted stars and pieces - always failing up somehow while us “smaller” markets fight for the crumbs of a single chip.
Just In: The Los Angeles Lakers are trading Dalton Knecht, Cam Reddish, a 2031 unprotected first-round pick and a 2030 pick swap to the Charlotte Hornets for center Mark Williams, sources tell ESPN.
