Go watch the game and let it go. Corruption, abuse, and fraud are being exposed and I am sorry you don't see that as a good thing. The electorate and popular majority of Americans do and it's exactly what they voted for. The petty defenses against it are silly. I am sure there are bad things from both sides of the aisle, maybe it'd be good if they threw y'all a bone? Now shhhhhhh. kthxbai

@jprowell @FistPunchSkull @DemocraticWins Agreed. That is why I am confident, this one, like Dell was for his pursuits, is uniquely qualified. He would not have been chosen otherwise.

I'm confused... Biden went against Supreme Court rulings more than once. So is this a "It is ok for me but not for thee situation? I'll list 2 times here but have to get ready for company, however, there are other times as well: 1) In June 2023, the Supreme Court struck down Biden's broad student loan forgiveness plan, ruling that his administration lacked the authority to cancel $430 billion in student debt without Congressional approval. Despite this, Biden announced further actions to forgive student debt through different mechanisms like income-driven repayment plans, Biden circumvented the Court's ruling. 2) In November 2021, following a stay by the 5th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals on the Biden administration's vaccine-or-test mandate for large businesses, the White House pressured businesses to continue with the mandate despite the court's order. Biden disregarded the court's temporary injunction.

@jprowell @FistPunchSkull @DemocraticWins fwiw... Michael Dell was 19 when he created Dell computers. I think he did pretty well on that venture... Not everyone who is 19yrs old is at the same level. Not even close.

It is curious you think that a kid fresh from high school without qualifications would be assigned to such an important task. He may be hated, but Mr Musk has proven numerous times on enormous scaled projects that he is very good at assessing people for a task. Also... lemme clutch my pearls as I scream "ageism!"

It was pretty obvious from the get go that it was filmed. It is a shame that you can't enjoy something unless it is spontaneous and happening in real time. There are so many movies you are missing... if youdo start to enjoy films.. those people in them are actors. And hold up- Keanu Reeve's real name is not NEO! crazy huh!

Hi John. It might help realizing that they're not just some kids off the street (any more that Greta was a random kid who just liked the science fair in school)... but even at that, they likely would be able to read through the technical jargon and data faster and more efficiently than many older persons on their grueling, quick paced schedule. However, to get to the point... Are you saying it did not concern you at all to have literally 80k-100k (not including the temporary workers hired by IRS etc) of people have had access to it? Above that, they don't give two flips about our personal data, they are going through what was mostly raw public data that needed some serious discovery and scrutiny because the Oversight committees often had their hands tied even when they discovered things that seemed off.

Aww, you were doing so well before you decided to sound catty and petty. Also, I am not saying that everything posted anywhere by anyone should be accepted whole without verifying for oneself. However, since you chose to ignore what I wrote about context, specific compilations, and analysis not being necessarily available, Let me make this even more clear for you. DOGE is making the information understandable (in no particular order): 1) to people who may not have a technical background since governmental datasets often include specialized terminology or were structured in ways that reflected internal bureaucratic processes rather than public understanding, complicating interpretation 2) to those who may not have access to the data which is scattered across various government websites or buried within documents (critical data can be hidden within large PDF docs or long reports rather than being presented in a clear, tabular, or searchable format. 3) because datasets often came without sufficient metadata or explanations about how the data was collected, what it represented, or how it should be interpreted, leading to potential misinterpretations. 4) needing clarity because there could be issues with data redundancy, where the same information was presented in slightly different ways across different datasets, or inconsistencies where data from different sources didn't align. 5) AND THIS IS A BIGGIE, condescending toned Dave, There were criticisms that the government might release data in a way that obscured less favorable information, either by not releasing sensitive data or by presenting it in an overwhelming volume where key information could be easily missed. 6) ANOTHER BIGGIE - In those cases, private providers involved in public services could leverage commercial confidentiality to withhold data, reducing transparency about public spending or outcomes. Please give it more effort to refrain from speaking as if you were in an ivory tower of intellectually and moral superiority when I think I have just shown you, that position is not earned. I don't feel anyone should be condescending. Discussion, not degradation, is how people learn.

@JDoza1 1912! This is likely still true that media is pushing the agenda of the people that feed them (both sides) & why free speech posting and community notes strike fear into those companies. Beyond that, I think Covid was the big clincher on people's lack of trust of govt and media.

@DaveSixFour @JulieAFragoules @DemocraticWins yes and no... while the raw data might have been available, the context, analysis, or specific compilations of this data by DOGE was not have been as transparent or public before.

Thank you for writing in an intelligent manner and not in histrionic, emotional, blathering screams. Your Post says that Trump said he could defy court orders, but I only saw a statement from Vance. Anyway, can I have your thoughts on this somewhat unclear issue? I read where the federal employees were being put on leave (not fired- I imagine they think clarification and proof would be discovered within the leave period duration at their current pace to determine who was efficient or abusive). I also read that administrative leave can be used for various reasons (including investigations into conduct or performance). However, mass placement on administrative leave, especially without specific cause, has been legally challenged when it appears to bypass normal administrative procedures. Is this because Congress oversees federal agencies & changes require approval to be permanent? What about for temporary processes? So congress oversees congressionally made agencies? This correct, right? Many USAID employees are protected under civil service laws, which limit the arbitrary placement on leave without due process or justification. This is correct, right? Article II of the U.S. Constitution grants the President broad executive powers, including the management of the executive branch. This includes the ability to direct federal agencies, which could theoretically extend to personnel actions like placing employees on leave. So it is not like this is a no-brainer situation. It is complex unlike the stupid tribal slogans both sides chant, right?

There is no evidence that Elizabeth Warren said that the American people do not need to know where taxpayer money is spent. A quote attributed to her on social media suggesting this was debunked by Lead Stories as having no basis in fact. They found no evidence on news sites, her official Senate website, or her social media accounts that she made such a statement. Therefore, the claim appears to be false based on available information.

Bowser? This post is exactly what makes people hate Christians. The proselytizing of your beliefs from a moral high ground of virtue signaling is sincerely no better than what you despise (the DEI & TQIA+ portion of lifestyle pushers). No one wants to be told what to think, say, or believe. Do yourself, let living a good life talk and not your mouth. Please don’t talk anymore about what is sinful unless it is ONLY about your own sins. You are not qualified & demolish any chance at “lost people” wanting to be “saved”.

@stephenrodrick @Valerie67271S @BOACA2024 He doesn’t need to “conquer” any place. He has achieved what needs to be done (the return of murdering cartel leaders to ending years long wars) through negotiation so yes. Peacefully. I’m confused as to why this is a bad thing.

I took a bit of time researching the differences about GAO & Oversight Committee and DOGE and learned this: While DOGE might be uncovering new instances of waste, similar issues might have been identified by GAO but not acted upon due to a lack of authority to enforce changes or because the findings were not prioritized by Congress. This narrative indicates a systemic issue where oversight bodies can identify problems, but without enforcement power or political will, change does not occur. In essence, the differences in approach, focus, political backing, and perhaps even the urgency of the moment under a new administration could explain why DOGE has found or highlighted different instances of waste and fraud compared to GAO and the Oversight Committee. Ran across this clip that perfectly summarized my confusion. G'night fellow humans. It is Sunday tmrw!
