I took my final 'long' pen-and-paper exam at university yesterday. As someone with weak fingers, the ordeal of writing on over 20 wide landscape sheets and sitting for three hours is something I'm genuinely relieved to leave behind.

i so agree. my dad was in a non-IIT but nice state uni and he tells me about some people he knew making handrolled operating systems and coding in assembly language. as an engineering student in 2022, i see none of that in my uni. It's all been taken over by "leetcode" maybe

Dropped a wallet with a lot of cash on a railway station in japan.
Got it back in less than 10 minutes thanks to the police and lost/found dept. We were very very impressed. I really didn't expect to find it and I'm pretty sure in most other countries it'd be gone forever.

no. investment banking is one of those high entry bar careers where you literally cant teach yourself to break in unless you have a top school, right education/ top network. so its a waste of time taking online certs and applying for IB jobs. its harmful to waste someone's time
