@sebsharfam2 Her results have stagnated since early ‘23 & alone are enough to justify moving on from him (let alone the abuse). It’s so disheartening to see her career deteriorate bc of him, as she is so talented & capable of achieving so much w/out him, something she hasn’t realized yet 🥲

@lordekina I hope this as well. Unfortunately it sounds like a very precarious situation and her family are probably worried about further isolating her/pushing her more towards him. But given how close-knit they seem, I’m sure they’re trying their best to help her, at least I hope 🙏

I’m at a loss for words and my heart goes out to Elena as someone who has ardently supported her for years 😢 I hope her family provides her support and guidance in navigating this unfortunate situation, and above all, hope the best for her 🩵 (also 100% agree w/ this Redditor)

@lordekina Yes, agreed. It’s clearly affecting her performance and the WTA is making it worse by leaving her in the dark/not giving any updates. Hopefully they will make a decision soon, as it’s unfair to leave her in this state of uncertainty.

@sebsharfam2 What a great win for Elena w/ a valiant effort from Ons. Ppl like to harp on Elena’s lack of killer instinct, but being down in the TB + winning 5 straight pts was a testament otherwise. So nice to also see the respect both have for each other afterwards despite the results.
