Emerald Realm is dropping in ~24 hours! I've never had such a long and difficult part; it took over a year comprised of around ~450 hours in the editor to get it looking how I wanted it.

2.2 should be fully delayed imo. With how delicate physics issues are, and how devastating save data losses are, the update should only be released when Rob genuinely can't find any major bugs. Rn he still has big stuff to fix, and that's only the bugs he actually knows about...
I really hope we get a warning before 2.2 is released. There are a lot of projects being worked on that could be totally interrupted or ended if we don't have notice to prepare. Imo the best scenario would be Rob giving us a 1-2 month away release date once he's totally done...

Thanks so much guys, this was genuinely some of the most fun ive had working on a level. The original deco here was already so good, so when I got my hands on it, I had a clear vision I wanted to execute that came easily. I couldn't be happier with how it turned out :)
In Tidal Wave, the level was very static for the most part, is that part of its identity which should be carried over to the remake? I'm considering adding moves but I don't want to break away from the vibe of the og too much

-tldr: It steals assets, but imo it's probably ok to be rated anyways, it's not the end of the world lmao
First of all, there's several effects/assets which are stolen, here's the biggest examples:
I really hope we don't get the ability to import textures/objects into the game in the future. That would entirely change way the community views levels and the way limitations actually make the game more balanced/fun.
I'm curious as to what deco specifics led to AOD not being rated. Seems to me that it has a consistent level of quality which sits well above the threshold required for rating. Maybe I'm not seeing something, but it really surprised me.

I've heard that 2.2 will make objects vector based, (so scaled up objects won't start to look blurry/weird) but if that affects 2.1 levels it's gonna break like half my parts bc I abuse that stuff for optimization 😬💀

AMAZING. Between Worlds, by xXLOCOXx, has immediately become one of my favorite levels of all time. Style is perfect, sync is unrivaled, creativity is through the roof, I will glaze this till I die.
Hot take, almost all rated levels are extremely impressive regardless of how they stand up against other contemporary levels. People in this community are extremely creative.
