Working with @Southwater_FC this evening. Another bunch of lads with great work ethic, putting in 100% this evening. With a game Saturday we kept the endurance lower and worked more on top speed and teaching the body to move or react faster.

⚠️ ALERT⚠️ Your push/pull/legs or chest and tri workout isnt going to help you perform greater or move better. Can you still have good arms and chest = YES But do not follow a bodybuilders structure and think you will perform like an athlete.

Been in this line of work for many years now and I’m shocked at how many players with less footballing ability work so much harder than the ones with natural ability. You hear it so much but when I sit back & think about it, I’ve come across 100s of these players in my life.

Imagine your progression is you climbing a ladder, during the season it may take you 8 weeks to climb 2 steps, then pre season comes along and you can climb 8 steps in 8 weeks. Don’t waste this time because when the season comes around, you will feel the difference.

My DM's are always open for anyone serious about stepping up their training. Don't waste months or even years using a sub par training schedule, lacking nutrition targets and only seeing minimal results. Pre-season is coming soon for those who want it the most.
