It’s not a conflict. Palestinians cannot ‘clash’ with apartheid rule while they’re being ethnically cleansed and murdered in their homes. The two sides are not equal in any sense. Liberation vs Oppression. Considering Britain’s role, the miscoverage by the media is intentional

My close friend Jas was sexually assaulted and radar radio used sports direct to cover it up. This is the kind of shit woc deal with in music. We’re bored of gender movements focusing on white women while we suffer. Silence is violence.

Saying Grime isn’t Black is one of the most ridiculous things I’ve heard in my life. Also nonsensical because it took white validation / praise before it was accepted by the mainstream. Was vilified by news outlets and music journos, Form 696 etc and the tories for years.

We need to throw the entire music industry away at this point. There’s way too much to unpack in all of these ‘statements’ that no one asked for. And I’m seeing Black people once again do all the emotional and intellectual labour. This is one of the main components of racism.

White DJs, producers, promoters, journalists, label / venue owners etc have created a climate of fear. POC cannot critique / oppose the current state of the industry without it impacting their careers. This is racism in action. Until this is addressed nothing will truly change.
