exactly, he acted based on fear and self-preservation. police is the only job where one should be worried about other people safety and well-being before themselves. which, i admit, is not an easy or normal way to act. which is why they should be the bravest, kindest, strongest and most selfless people we have not any jim or tom is qualified for this kind of job, very few people are imo it takes a lot to risk being in danger (a calculated risk) to do the right thing

yeah i agree. i'm not defending those useless trainings. I was just commenting on what a sad state we're in as a society that an employer needs to go through a useless training that everyone knows is useless and also wastes time and money just to wash their hands off of something when everyone can see their hands are clean, because another adult did the act not them

not in the context of behavioral stuff like we're discussing so if a worker sexually harasses a customer for example, he can get fired, but it's not the fault of the employer unless they already knew somehow, which they generally wouldn't, you know? adults should take responsibility for their own actions methinks what do you think?
