Strongly condemn the recent defamatory post shared on President Anura Kumara Dissanayake’s official Tamil Facebook page targeting Dr. Seetha Arambepola. The post, which was later deleted, raises serious concerns about the use of official state media for character assassination. This is not an isolated incident. JVP supporters have consistently targeted women on social media, and this latest attack comes as no surprise. Political discourse must be rooted in dignity and respect. President’s media team should ensure that official platforms are not misused for personal or political attacks.

@chamihin 100% agree with this. Based on the number of NGOs in the process of shutting down their influence has been deeply rooted. I also know a few who severely misused the funds. And also that USAID had their nose in places which should not. This issue was raised with RW too.

@MaheshaSamarat2 He is not in the good books of RW. If they unite people like Sujeewa will not have a future in the party. RW is his biggest fear! 😅

@Ru173418052 The funds were severely misused Ruwan. Especially in SL. But it has done some good too. I hope USAID will be reinstated and this time with very transparent monitoring plans.
