@pricej7481 @NDNSports1 Not disagreeing -- but I think Carroll in the RRC is the one complicating factor. I've been told geography is important in these discussions. Unless Carroll leaves, I don't know if that's an option. The RRC is not particularly interested in adding Pella/Indianola, either

@NDNSports1 My initial understanding is that Norwalk does not have an interest in immediate departure. Thus, the split league concept. It would probably incentivize others to join. I can't speak to DCG's desires but the growth is hard to ignore.

@pricej7481 I'm not here to argue that point at all. I think the schools they picked were intentional though. PC can almost always punch up a weight class. I imagine they envision some growth for PCM considering the sprawl around Des Moines.

@NDNSports1 Thanks for passing that along. I wonder if some of the other schools accept that it might change a tune. A lot of Knoxville parents in our Facebook comments were really receptive. The SCC, outside of a very select few teams, has not very been competitive for them.

@joshcowman There would still be some crossover, especially with XC/track/where we currently have "byes," and I don't see a world where Pella/PC don't still regularly play.
