For me history serves to show how willing the Palestinians/ Arabs are to co-exist.

In PRC’s eyes, they are the regional leaders, only they can uphold peace and stability in the SCS, so long as the smaller countries in the area cooperate by not disagreeing with China. That is the only scenario acceptable to the Chinese.
