collapse + sort on kNN score would be neat but I don't think that's a thing retrievers ( might help with some of the query weirdnesses but it won't change the underlying HNSW performance problem on aggressive filters (though there's an open PR in lucene for improvements right now)

@Ninetw0 any specific guide? first thing I'd always check for connection errors: HTTP vs HTTPS, port, and if you can actually connect (like with curl)
