This study done w/ @camilacocina + @jomroche for @HomeEquals is an urgent call for governments & international agencies to improve housing in informal settlements. Evidence shows that when residents of informal settlements do better, everyone does better!
One billion people worldwide - 1 in 4 urban residents - live in informal settlements. Improving their #housing conditions is not only a human rights imperative, but also generates positive impacts for income, health and education conditions for the whole society. #HomeEquals
