In case it wasn't obvious, this account was formerly called Hex | End. As much as I wanted to maintain a single public-facing account for business and personal posts, it became too weird and self-defeating. For the record, I have every intention of finishing the story of Hex |
Adieu, The Eminence in Shadow.
Hope there's a good announcement on the 22nd. I scrounged up some images to upscale and edit into wallpapers. Most are 1440p, 16:9. (Right click>Open image in new tab for full size). Enjoy!

Rest in peace, Kentaro Miura. You and your work were an inspiration to me on the most profound level. I can only try to follow in the wake of your greatness.
Hasbro and Wizards of the Coast think enforcing intellectual property laws on people creating content for/about D&D, even just using the SRD in their works, is a good idea.
Idiots.
I invite you to invest in Hex | End, and we can develop an irl Gateways TTRPG together. Fuck WotC.
I'm gonna be attending the Read It Write It: Book and Writing Festival in Wellington, FL on Feb. 25th. (More info here: ) Heidi Hess, the author who's putting on the event sent the other authors questions, and I thought I'd share my answers, b/c why not? ๐งต

Only the same reason you don't see company presidents speaking about all those things people always says not to talk about at Thankgiving dinner: politics, religion, (and intersexual dynamics). I always hated it, but in this position apparently you can either choose integrity or
First convention as a vendor/artist was pretty chill. Sold some books, gave out a buttload of bookmarks. It was a small one, but it was good to learn what to expect for the bigger three-day ones.
Just spent 2.5 days reformatting the ebook version of Hex | End Vol. 1 to be the kind of ebook that Kindle e-readers can display. โ ๏ธ
The paperback proof is arriving tomorrow (today). Stay tuned for bibliophile gravure pixโฆ 6 x 9 x 1.7in. She thicc. ๐
Anyone here done conventions as a vendor/Artist Alley artist? The first convention where I'll be selling Hex | End is coming up on Saturday, and I think I'm pretty prepared, but is there anything you learned from experience I might not think of?
I would use half of that money to hire ufotable to make Hex | End into an anime series, and the rest would be invested into my own publishing company Raven Grove Press, so I can scout out exceptionally good mangaka and light novel authors and publish them under that imprint.
You are given the Rings of Power budget and are allowed to adapt ANY book you want into a movie, miniseries, or tv series. It can be fiction or nonfiction. What book do you choose?
Guy and his wife who were beside me at UltraCon were good folks. He and I bonded over metalcore. He plays guitar, (and I play drums). I gave up trying to pursue music professionally, so no band in the works, but his stuff is ๐ฅ. Hex | End OP raw material?
Deciding to do a really extensive glossary and dramatis personae for Hex| End vol. 1 in only a few days, I realize, was an exercise in masochism. I apologize to myself.
If you wanna buy a physical copy of Hex | End, until this nightmare is over, just hit me up anywhere--DMs, email, whatever--and we'll go through PayPal or BCH and I'll ship it to you myself.
Little thread:
1/ One of the things I hope for most from my Hex | End series, is that it's seen and loved by creative people of a like mind. I don't want it to be an "open-source" project, but I would love to actively collaborate with other illustrators and writers, and give
To celebrate finishing the rough draft of part one of the second volume of Hex | End. I'm running a sale on volume one till next Wednesday ($14.99), which has me breaking even on print costs. I'd really appreciate some reviews for a signal boost, though.

I don't advertise it as much as I should, but I hate the marketing side of things, tbh. I like writing and making artwork, not being my own hype man. Traditional publishing, which might've compensated for these things, is a non starter for a few reasons.
