Vampire Hunter D. The world and it’s coming to be in the state we see in the 2000 movie is fascinating. There’s so many moments throughout time you can join D in a story on and whilst i am not a reader of the Novels the source material is quite lengthy.

Requiem for the Phantom has been picking up dust it’s been there so long, i’ve went to start it before as well but ended up last second switching. I highlighted it at the start of the year as a show i will watch so i better make that call right.

I won’t say loved but i did have really high hopes for Kyousou Giga and that was due to how weird but intriguing the synopsis was along with good outside praise. It had its aspects and parts but overall i did not have a fun time at all which was a shame.
67. what is an anime you’ve watched (or manga you’ve read) that you thought you’d end up loving, but you surprisingly ended up hating instead?

Monogatari which is now one of my all time favourite series that i deeply appreciate. I initially didn’t like Bakemonogatari when i watched but three years later i revisited and i of course had my doubts but i was proven wrong this time and continued on with the whole series.

A weird one but Dusk Maiden of Amnesia is a series i think about from time to time and looking back on it it’s a lot more promiscuous and playful than when i watched. The OP will always stay in rotation though.
62. what is an anime that you enjoyed watching back then, but if you were to watch it today, you don’t think you would’ve liked it as much as you did back then?

Babylon left me disappointed. Some great ideas with its politics and how could x come to be and why y is sought after but what failed was the reality. None of the talking points were at all presented or can be seen in a real view, an unexplained supernatural ability to add also.
40. what is a concept of an anime or manga that had felt had great potential but was ultimately wasted (due to poor writing, a bad adaptation, etc.)?

I’ve only read one lol but The Horizon would make for an excellent film or short series. It’s been a while since i read but i do occasionally think about it and it’s world. Barren in environment and apocalyptic in coming to be.

A Goodbye Eri adaptation would make my day, week and so on the appreciation and care that Look Back received from Kiyotaka Oshiyama and Studio DURIAN leaves me without much doubt that they would do a great job again. Look Back i love but Goodbye Eri even more.
