I've always said this, they'll justify everything Alicent does with the "she was a 14 yo" even when we judge adult Alicent actions but they'll never give that same courtesy to Rhaenyra or Lucerys who were the same age or younger, they were expected to act and react as adults.

Yeah, because a 5yo it's going to understand that a boy twice his age, who is holding a rock against his brother and threatened to kยกll them before, is not going to actually harm them.
