Meet Abdullah Shehbaz; he is the only son of our gardener & surprisingly knows everything about gardening, flowers and plants. In 2021 when joined school for the first time, he was 6 years old &only wanted to be like his dad BUT (thread)
today he wants to open a huge nursery for himself and his dad: this is what EDUCATION does to an individual. I have now more then 175 children from morning school, after-school & then their mothers at the Stitching Centre learning some skills towards a sustained earning.
It’s an unparalleled honour and privilege to take oath as a Member of the National Assembly of Pakistan! This role reinforces my commitment to enhance democratic principles and actively participating in shaping the future of Pakistan; advocating tirelessly for the well-being of

DREAM BIG; WORK HARD;ENJOY THE JOURNEY
The article below featured in
@parhlopink
describes the journey I started for the street, slum & orphan kids in 2013. Today, Alhamdulillah I have two tiny but brilliant projects making their everyday better 😊
He is my student at NUML & currently needs some financial support to continue his studies. I would request everyone reading my message to support him so he may continue his studies JZK.
Meet Hunain,
Hunain’s admission was invalidated from school after an accident left him partially blind. He was left out to be on the streets but now we enjoy his full of life company! Our schools shd focus on INCLUSIVITY bcz only then our generations wd be able to learn EMPATHY!
Abdullah is an orphan; having not been able to afford a sustained likelihood, he became a labourer.
It is one of my top priorities to help these children, who have been handed such a tough start to life.

Hasnain helps his father with the small vegetables stall and now easily notes up his daily earnings and savings in the ledger. Tiny achievements like these are the silver lining for me✨

My school is for all the orphan, less privileged, children who have been denied education for one reason or another.
The aim of my school is to share love, build hope and strengthen faith to live life with dignity and courage.
In 2021, I started a mini vocational training institute for the single mothers of the children who are enrolled in my school. These women, single mothers will be able to earn a nice livelihood through this tiny project.

I’d take a minute to applaud Dr.

& team of
@PakFightsPolio
; for curating such great mechanism to vaccine every child. My son got his vaccine on the 5th visit as he goes to the daycare while I am at work. The team was there particularly on Saturday only for his vaccine!
Pakistan is among the 19 countries at extreme risk of school closures, dropouts and wider learning inequalities due to COVID-19. Play your part in building a stronger nation by pledging to support the education of at least one child living in poverty.
Help them Dream!
In Pakistan 🇵🇰 we have: Article 25 (1), Article 37 (a), Equality Act 2010, Juvenile Law, Corporal Laws, Human Rights Act & signatories of numerous treaties for children rights BUT I fail to understand why don’t people just can’t get over keeping a fragile child as their househelp
Women belong in all places where decisions are being made & it shouldn't be that women are any exception! Every woman’s success should be an inspiration to another & we’re even resilient when we cheer each other on! 🌸

Every child deserves the chance to learn and grow, regardless of their circumstances. The best way to celebrate this day for me was to open up the doors for more children to school today.
Witness the happy faces as we actually celebrate

My kiddos deserve a standing ovation for showing me the true meaning of resilience and determination through how they fight against all odds to attend school every day. Against all challenges, they've excelled in their classes, achieving remarkable grades. Their hard work and
In a country where poverty is widespread and people die every year of multiple diseases, becoming an orphan at a tender age seems like a death sentence. Ibrahim has to support his uncle who is a labourer; here at school he has completed his kindergarten & is a delightful soul ✨
This is the video of connecting pathway from

to nearest Metro Station. A prolific number of students mostly females use this perilous pathway everyday. It is kindly requested to install the street lights for these children so they can commute to the station safely.
Calling out all the human rights organisations who’d stand up for the women who die of suffering but wouldn’t stand up for the ones who pass through such a harassment alive! This is beyond just disgusting-
(Pls keep political diff aside; she’s a woman for heaven’s sake)
In 2021;I had 65 children at school,I planned on bringing the # to 100 by the end of 2022.Allah’s been kind & I achieved a # of 175 OOSC children who belong to the humble backgrounds, street, orphan, labourers, young maids & every child who awaits to be in a school.

Meet Nabiha 🌸
Nabiha is enrolled in our early morning slot for the young girl child maids i.e. 06:45am to 09:00am.
Nabiha works as a helper at a baaji’s home in the vicinity; her father is a roustabout whose income isn’t guaranteed on all the days. (Thread)
Nearly half of all child death under 5 are caused by malnutrition. Can U imagine being unable to afford to buy food for your children?Poverty-stricken parents face this heartbreaking predicament every day!
We have Alhamdulillah started a glass of Pediasure for children everyday!
Wishing a very Merry Christmas to all those celebrating! Our school is inclusive of kids from every background, race or religion & equally celebrates the occasions to bring smiles on these kids faces.
If students are tested frequently, they tend to study more and with more regularity; it also permit students to discover gaps in their knowledge and for us it feels like an achievement and an indicator of academic progress 🧵
Kashaf & Kainat are twins with special needs or I must say special abilities. Their mother works as a Ayya in the same school where they were denied an admission.
Alhamdulillah, they’re happily growing and learning in my school. Equality in Education is important!
@situationsarah
I was about to write something but then I went through the thread! I am sure you’ll have your query or I should say grouse fixed by now. How awful, I am sure you’d do your type of charity not questioning that, but they only gather here this time of the year.. Endure them 💕 peace

Hammad has setup his small book-binding bench on the roadside. He has never been to school & his ambitions had me inspired:

#InternationalGirlChildDay
meet these girls who are very close to my heart.
Coming to school at 06:30am & leaving before it ticks 09 to reach their work is the sight we witness everyday. I celebrated these beautiful souls today who have faced so much in this tender age.
These smiles is all the contentment I have ever aspired for; who’d believe they’re all street children, who’d believe they don’t have a second meal to be offered at home. I am thankful to Allah & then all those who have helped me this way or other to come this far! ✌️
In Surah Insan, Allah describes people who give their food to orphans and the needy, purely for His sake: ‘And they give food, in spite of love for it, to the needy, the orphan, and the captive’ “We feed you only for the countenance of Allah.
#StreettoSchools
Reason I work for these fragile children r such encounters that I witness every other day!How can we be so naive of the basic rights of these children;if YOU can send your child to a pvt school pls ve some courage to send them a govt, road side, NGO or welfare run school atleast!
Excited to share my OP-Ed in

on Education dynamics in Pakistan & how various strategies can improve the status of education provision for the masses at large.
School update: 20-08-2023
Boys & Girls both need a safer space than being on streets, once the rooms are completed I’ll be able to provide education to 400+ students both boys & girls who are out of school regardless of the REASON! Let’s educate & bring them to all to school ✨

Meet Asad,
Asad is the eldest of his siblings and his parents struggled to make ends meet. His father worked as a daily wage labourer and his mother worked as a maid in nearby houses, but their combined income was not enough to support their family.
Amnah Umair, who is running a home-based school.Amnah is providing free education to street children who can’t afford school fees. Her contribution for education needs to be acknowledged at the national level.Appreciate for her great efforts for the Education.❤️✨

Here’re some cherishable moments from our Eid Party yesterday!Unlike other schools we don’t afford our children to go for a long summer break bcz there’re chances they’d not return back hence we call them in cohorts so their education isn’t disrupted.
