@marcoroth_ Some Ruby. Some Crystal. More Crystal than Ruby. I'm thinking a lot about some potential projects to build out.

@Love2Code What you are describing is pretty close to Crystal. It is statically typed, but the type inference system means that you can quite often ignore that fact.

@andrewculver It is unnecessary. Your body IS burning carbs every day, even if you aren't eating them. You create them in a sufficient quantity to satisfy the metabolic need, so there is no actual benefit. For athletic activities, some strategic carbohydrates can improve performance

@GregMolnar Ah, new construction! Where our property is at (central PT), very little is flat. Our main road on the property has a slope that is so much more than 6%...good luck! How far into the process are you? I think stuff like this is why new builds in PT tend to take a long time....

@TheDrugMoney I mean, don't get me wrong -- it is still an arid, hot in summer, cold in winter parcel of grass and sagebrush that, at best, has occasional flowing surface water from rain, a 40 minute drive from the nearest grocery store. But people build on land like that regularly in Wyoming.

@zkpedrongmi Amen. I am not a fan of the forced bundling of a whole bunch of stuff that I am not using, and likely will not use, just to get my 1gb service.

RT @sdogruyol: Crystal @CrystalLanguage is just blazing fast β‘οΈ It takes less than 100 ms to statically analyze Kemal @crystalkemal codebasβ¦

@andrewculver The challenge is that it depends a lot on what you like, on how much time you have, and on whether you have a car or not. One of my favorite things to do is to just walk. The Alfama <-> Baixa <->Barrio Alto<->Chiado neighborhood areas are all great to simply walk and explore.

@zpedrongmi This time around, though, Trump appears to have won the popular vote, too, so the electoral college doesn't factor into it at all.

@TweetsOfSumit Pre-git, I wrote a system, in Perl, to provide a branch and merge style workflow (i.e. how most people use git), built on top of RCS, to help manage and make workable development from a highly distributed team, in the latter 90s.
