there is nothing remotely north about any of the states mentioned. my very igala upbringing and cultural values bear no similarities to core northern values. i don't understand this need to find ways to attach us to y'all.
I don't know who needs to hear this, but there is NO such thing as middle belt, states like Plateau, Benue, Kogi, Kwara and Nasarawa are all part of the North. Whoever thinks any of these state is a middle belt or whatsoever needs to go back to school and stop deceiving himself.

@MonsieurEmmy1 that's not the point she's trying to make and yours is just as moot. granted, we have failed institutions but i can tell you for free that our medical institutions (read as doctors) are doing great things with so little afforded to them. this is a certain truth.

crazy thing is whenever this dude dies, be it 10yrs from now, someone can quote this tweet with something like "delay is not denial" and a certain people would all nod in agreement . scary.
Let's try my own version too. If God is real, I won't wake up tomorrow. If God doesn't exist, I will wake up tomorrow morning to quote this tweet.

@Ogunbiyibabatu7 @Softlife_dev @chemicalbrodar it's not a book. It's an idea in psychology proposed by Abraham Maslow. you can google maslow's hierarchy of needs.

Nigerians annoy tf out of me, all the damn time! What are these comments? Evidence of centuries of religious and cultural indoctrination, to the point where people think a thread about the way of life of their ancestors is an attack on their religion or ethnicity😩.
I was looking through the UK National Archives and here's an important reminder that Northern Nigeria used to "dress naked" too, but they've erased their history so much, Arewa people now hound women for wearing backless dresses. All these photos were taken in Kamberi, Niger State

re: i'm rereading purple hibiscus rn and i understand this tweet better now. because reading this book as an adult, as opposed to my pre-teen self when i last read it, the theme of the book hits way different, no pun intended.
The interesting thing about the abuse in Purple Hibiscus is that it is hidden in plain sight. You read it the first time and you don’t see it. You just enjoy the book and Kambili’s crush on Father Amadi. And then you read it again when you’re much older and you’re shocked.

if this man loses the next election, i'd finally lose the last shred of hope and belief i have in the nigerian populace. cos if not for the rife illiteracy and lacking enlightenment, why would any of the other candidates even have a chance against this?.

person dey deal with real life, low lifes dey him comments and quotes dey talk "cook for us, cook them" and other sorts of 'dumbass-ry'. idiots.
I wasn't aware that it is standard operating procedure in Zimbabwe for the country's minister of information to tweet the asylum status of a foreigner, but since you've resorted to telling half truths, perhaps you should mention to your audience that I came into Zimbabwe with

maybe in your genre no one paved the way. but in the nigerian YouTube space, people certainly did walk so you can run. so long as you're not a trailblazer, someone paved the way. It's not a bad thing and doesn't invalidate what you do.
Good morning, if I had goats when I started youtube, I don't have anymore. Tayo Aina is my oga, Fisayo is my friend, I respect Dimma. They've been at this for a while, but they didn't pave my way for me. Why is this a problem?.

@flyairpeace Too much pandering and "don't be annoyed" vibes is all I'm picking from this statement. And the overbearing sense of entitlement from "one Isa Bayero" and I think that entitlement was borne out of countless times concessions such as this has been made for them.

@MonsieurEmmy1 so saying something as routine as compatibility testing would be circumvented in a work up to transplantation, is just a slap on the face.

Good afternoon Mr @hackSultan. Thank you for the opportunity. I do have two questions about altschool africa. 1. The entrance exam you mentioned in your announcement tweet, can an aspiring student who has paid the entry fee end up failing it?.

this is not true. look around your locale, i bet you'd find a handful of technically gifted footballers. but the issue is, western coaches and scouts don't believe africans can be technically gifted. it's why they would rather look for a ndidi, mikel or mane regen. 1/n.
But tbh why are whyte football players generally more technical & more skillful than their black counterparts????. PS: Pls don’t take this tweet to BA Twitter, make dem no label me “coon” & “slave” this early Sunday morning😭.
