I just got a no from a publisher I queried nearly a year ago for my novel that’s debuting in July ‘23. I politely responded and they wrote me back immediately with a big congratulations and said when my presale link goes live to send it and they will buy a copy!

Because giving kids books is what our job is as authors. period. no matter the cost. no matter the reason.

I signed a sapphic YA sci-fi romance a year ago to a trilogy deal… but over the last year of edits, me and my publisher made a conscious decision to age up the MC’s to 19/20 and we are going to market it as New Adult.

I thought indie published meant traditionally published, but by a small boutique publisher aka Independent non-big 5 house (IBPA).
