Read the article. It's a good article. I revere Gene Wolfe, because 2 of his novels made me weepy for weeks. He taught me that I love kings who sacrifice themselves for their people. I dread GW because I'm afraid of becoming weepy for weeks. Only GW has ever done that.
This is the best thing I've read about Gene Wolfe, about who he was and what he did and what he made and why it matters. Please read it.
