In light of the Breonna Taylor candlelight vigil tonight, WORDS will be postponing Slam I. The vigil will be taking place tonight at 8pm at the MLK plaza. We encourage you to participate in this event and stand in solidarity with the Black community.

¡HAPPENING TONIGHT!
In order to celebrate Black History month and let our voices be heard WORDS will be hosting a slam! "Complex History: A slam about the complexity of Black identity". This slam will be about exploring Black identity and experience American or otherwise and WE WANT TO HEAR IT ALL!!

If you are interested in performing, please write a piece that is reflective of the theme. This slam will be open-mic style and will be $3 for admission as a spectator or performer.
