It was a special and emotional day yesterday. I wanted to say a final thank you as I sign off from Woodsetts. Every gift, card or conversation I had meant so much to me. I have been very fortunate to teach such a special cohort of children! Best wishes to you all 🌟- Mr Elcock

In yesterday’s English lesson, Class 6 used freeze frames to act out their predictions for the next section of the story from Trash. They used speech bubbles to think about dialogue and thoughts and feelings ⭐️

We focused on different types of jumps in athletics today. We looked at beating our own personal best by discussing how we could improve our power. A bit of plyometric training and video analysis included too! We have some powerful Y6 students at Woodsetts! 💪🏻

What a squad! 🤩 After coming first in our cluster of schools, our Y5/6 team went on to the Rotherham finals. We didn’t progress from the groups but we couldn’t be more proud of the effort and determination they showed today. A delight to watch them play 🥹⚽️🏃🏼♀️
