This morning, we marked National Apprenticeship Week with a employer breakfast and a careers fair, welcoming businesses from across the West Midlands. Business joined us to learn about how we can support their recruitment, training, and staff development, explored our new Advanced Technology and Automotive Centre, and found out about our City Learning Quarter. In addition to this, students from across the college had the opportunity to meet employers and discover a wide range of career options in different industries. We were also delighted to welcome Adam Vasco, Director of Equality, Diversity and Inclusion at the University of Wolverhampton, who joined us as our guest speaker. Our Futures students spent the day at Wildside Activity Centre, volunteering to protect our local environment. They walked along the canal to Aldersley Village and returned through the nature reserve, collecting a large amount of litter on the way.
