Rant- several years ago

pushed the spring season back a full week and never adjusted the amount of games being played. So now it’s only 6 practices before a game or scrimmage. And when the weather doesn’t cooperate teams are forced to play 3-4 games a week. Cont…

Some teams are playing back to backs or 3 in a row. Today it’s cold out so schools are canceling, but we are able to practice outside? Someone make this make sense. The Spring season gets the shaft every year. People are canceling games the day of at 8am! Let the day play out!

Spot on. It’s getting too difficult/grey for officials to officiate effectively. Get rid of subjectivity and make all penalties full time. As far as the dive, get rid of the goal mouth and any contact with the goalie is a penalty & no goal. Cont…
Quint nails end of game situation in Cuse-MD here IMO. There is just way, way too much officiating going on right now. The sport made a big leap in the right direction with the shot clock; the goal now shouldn’t be making games feel longer or have dead air

3 out of the 6 MMA schools are represented in this poll. Joes is by far the best team and Canisius and Frannies are also very good. Timon and St Marys are building . Nichols is young and has a bright future. But sorry…I don’t know what I’m talking about.

As far as Section VI bro g behind the rest of the state…is a top 10 poll the reason? I don’t think so. As a matter of fact the Buffalo News and these coaches finally worked together and got some recognition for these teams.

The FO- align the sticks further from the ball and don’t allow clamps. Make it a 6 man battle again. Or move the wing lines in to the soccer circle to involve them again.
