Reflecting back on this soon ending decade I realized it’s been a tough 10 years. One of the highlights was having the privilege to compete with @Lord_of_Q especially in 2016 when we won the Memphis in May World Championship. I am Blessed. Looking forward to 2020.

For well over 20 years I’ve had a Thanksgiving turkey cook for friends, relatives and customers. I started deep frying them & for obvious reasons they are smoked now. We average 50 turkeys a year. I love this tradition. May all of us have a successful cook & Great Thanksgiving.

I’m out of my procedure. In recovery. 100% blockage in right artery. Dr was able to clean it out and put a stent in. I’ll be in recovery until 4 and spend the night. Thank you for you love and prayers.

3 years ago today while I was @Lord_of_Q cook school, I had a heart attack and had a perfect EKG. 4 days later (with a perfect EKG in Chattanooga) I had 2 stents for a totally blocked right coronary artery. I’m grateful and Blessed.
