Senate Appropriations Chairwoman Susan Collins is objecting to the Trump administration’s move on cuts to the National Institutes of Health budget, saying she told Robert F. Kennedy Jr about her “strong opposition” to “arbitrary” cuts that she says could be “devastating” to critical research initiatives. Collins, a key swing vote, has not said how she would vote on Kennedy’s nomination to lead Health and Human Services, which will be considered by the full Senate this week. “This morning, I called Robert F. Kennedy, Jr., the nominee to head the Department of Health and Human Services, to express my strong opposition to these arbitrary cuts in funding for vital research at our Maine institutions, which are known for their excellence. He has promised that as soon as he is confirmed, he will re-examine this initiative that was implemented prior to his confirmation.”

They will obviously ignore order +laugh at contempt. Anything a court CAN do v total contempt for law? DOJ won’t help. Any other state recourse? One refusal to comply implies: never comply. Roberts has foreseen danger, could MAYBE corral 5 votes. What happens when that’s ignored?
The judge also threatened contempt for members of the administration if they delay compliance. This could get interesting.

This was a screaming alarm that Dems chose to ignore. As foolish as Joe was to keep up the charade, his aides and family bear just as much guilt. He couldn’t risk an interview but he was up to a nat’l campaign? Damage done is incalculable.
A year ago, Biden refused the traditional Super Bowl interview and the unparalleled audience it would have yielded. That bewildering decision was a major sign of trouble. Trump is all over it today.

@krassenstein No that's straight up doxxing. Listen - nobody agrees with any actions or words he did or said. But you can't just put a name and a face to someone that is doing his job performing actions the world has massive issues about. He will get hurt or worse. Even you can see that.
