Mr. Kabugo, allow me reshare this...
Buying Land/Property Jointly: Let's focus on Joint tenancy VS Tenancy in Common ππΌ If two people (whether husband and wife or not) jointly own property and one of them dies, the property automatically belongs to the surviving person. That's Joint tenancy; the share of the deceased automatically devolves to the other co-owner. [This is the principle of survivorship.] Succession laws donβt apply to property jointly owned upon the death of one of the joint tenants. If the husband dies, the property jointly owned with wife is not counted as part of the estate of the deceased for redistribution or sharing. Tenancy in Common: If you jointly own land and in the documents you add the words: βTenants in Commonβ, that means that when one of you dies, the other partner still alive does not automatically take the deceasedβs interest in the property. This principle of survivorship does not apply to a tenancy in common. You may consider including the words βTenants in Commonβ that when the deceased family can claim his interest in that property as part of the estate of the deceased.

I'm grateful for the opportunity to serve at ACTV- Against Torture for the past period. With the great support and guidance , I'm ready to step in to the world that awaits me. It's been a great experience. Thank you.
The end of one journey is the beginning of another , at ACTV we recognise tremendous efforts by our staff in treating and rehabilitating torture victims in Uganda as well as outside her boarders. Today afternoon was one of those sad days where one of us starts another exciting journey else where . Ms.Winnie Nakiwolo - a nurse [ @wiwo141311 ] who was attached to our head office has been described by ACTV family as a jolly, caring , enthusiastic person who brings out the best with in her colleagues. We wish you all the best of luck on this new adventure and urge you to keep being a good ambassador of social justice by supporting torture victims in our societies , Uganda and Africa at large.

Free Counsel Eron Kiiza
In dispensing justice, the spirit enshrined in Chapter 4 of the 1995 Constitution of the Republic of Uganda as amended ought not only to be considered but seen to be considered at all times and by all justice obligated institutions in Uganda. The unfortunate action by the @cdfupdf @MODVA_UPDF of sentencing @kiizaeron ; a human rights lawyer, human rights defender and advocate to 9 months in prison for exercising his professional duty guaranteed under Article 28 of the 1995 Constitution of Uganda as amended on Right to a fair hearing for his client through legal representation is an insult on rule of law, fair hearing processes and access to justice in our country. The action taken risks being considered, perceived or interpreted as a direct intimidation of lawyers, human rights defenders and pro-justice promoters, and poses a danger of cultivating seeds of self regulation, fear to defend and uphold Chapter 4 of the 1995 Constitution of the Republic of Uganda as amended for all persons pursuing justice in our country. The question of whether civilians should be tried before military courts of law continues to go unanswered by the @JudiciaryUG at the expense of the future of human rights respect, protection and promotion for all in Uganda. @DignityDK @USAID @UHRC_UGANDA @NCHRD_UG @chapterfourug @NetpilUganda @ug_lawsociety

We need Torture-free communities
Freedom from torture and Cruel, Inhumane, Degrading Treatment or Punishment should be a freedom for all and enjoyable by all including children. Therefore, concerted efforts for torture-free communities for children in Uganda are necessary by both the general public and relevant stakeholders. Together, we can end torture of children in schools, homes and in the general community. @ODPPUGANDA @PoliceUg @UHRC_UGANDA @JudiciaryUG @DignityDK @USAID

Disappear and work on yourself βΊοΈ
In 2025: Disappear and work on yourself. You're suffering from perennial stagnation. You always like hanging around crowds for validation. You feel bad when people don't call to check on you. Disappear and go find yourself. Quiet introspection is like magic. Life is personal.
