On August 25th, 2023
Ukraine experienced a grave loss when the irreplaceable fighter pilot Capt. Andrii Pilshchykov, also known to many as “Juice” died in a training accident. Our thoughts are with his family and friends during this difficult time.

This is Major Maksym with his incredible helicopter. The flowers on the side of his Mi-24 are Petrykivka paintings which is a traditional Ukrainian decorative painting. Rather than camouflage, the painting is intentional as Maksym is fearless in defending his people & land. ✊🇺🇦

A life-saving mask!
Last year, a pilot was saved by the Maxillofacial Shield on his helmet when his helicopter crash landed after being hit by a Russian missile. Since then, it has been one of our major projects to provide the same masks & helmets to protect these pilots.

During a memorial service for Juice, 12-year-old Nazar who studies at the Aerospace Center in Ukraine shared his dream. He already wears a flight suit and collects chevrons. Juice is his favorite pilot. Instead of a MiG-29, he dreams of flying a F-35. Fly high, little one.✈️💙💛

Here is a helmet that Wingmen for Ukraine has provided for a brave Ukrainian helicopter pilot. It has recently been refurbished and is now in use protecting the HELO pilot while he protects his people.

🟨Unfortunately at the beginning of the war, the Ukrainian Air Force and Army Aviation did not have enough protective equipment for their pilots. Not all mobilized pilots had helmets and fire-resistant suits to protect them in flight.

🟦Since the beginning of the full-scale war, he has been evacuating wounded soldiers from combat zones to hospitals. Every flight is extremely dangerous and full of risks. He and his crew have rescued dozens of soldiers and civilians as well.
