My sun is Aquarius and I disagree. We aren’t easy to date because we take no bs, and don’t let our feelings get in the way of logic. I’ve dated Aquarian’s myself and that’s about the worst. On the other hand those who do date us fall in lust easy, yet want to stick around.

My income is under $3000. A month. I have a clean, pleasant apartment, travel yearly, pay all my bills on time, have plenty of food at home to cook, eat out 1-2 times a month, keep 5K in the bank, and still have a little spending money. So dude, you’re doing something wrong.

When I was a a social worker one of the risk factors we looked for was parents who killed family pets. It indicated the possibility a child’s pet may be threatened to control the child. As it turned out it did occur on occasion. Being her cold heart a referral to CPS is warranted

I had a cat I dearly loved. He was so smart and good. When I came home from the hospital my husband had taken the cat to a “rehome” place. He said I couldn’t have a cat around the baby per his mother. I was only in hospital 2 days and he managed to majorly hurt my heart. ❤️

It’s so much deeper than they took them away. Many Roma have had children taken away unjustly because the dominant culture couldn’t understand their ways. Many have fled to find they run into the same problems due to prejudice and misconceptions. It’s very sad situation for them

Recently my neighbor and I found a woman clinically dead, not breathing and no heart beat. She was living rough. The cop gave her narcan and revived her. She lived a few days with ventilator. Yes she had taken drugs, but she died from an undiagnosed brain tumor and stroke.

Chemo varies with every person. My sister had a uterine tumor that from all tests was benign. Then after surgery they found a small amount of slow growing cancer. Although it was removed she had chemo once a week for 6 weeks. Other sis had 6 rx three weeks apart for non Hodgkins

I never left the kids with him when they were little. He had no idea what to do with them. I decided I didn’t care what the church people said, and I took the 2 toddlers and the one in my belly and left. This was in 1975. Back then I didn’t have the bones I did a few years later.

My aunt got polio as a child. She had a slight limp through life. She is now in her late 80’s. A couple years ago she started having post polio syndrome. Occurs between 25-40% of person who had polio. It has been very debilitating and crippling. No there’s not complete recovery

I could pretend to relate. One time I really wanted cabbage and was in a place they just weren’t available. I was pregnant though so I pulled that one and someone found me a cabbage. I ate the whole thing by myself.

Obviously isn’t a tight fit and won’t work with a fitted sheet. Those sheets look like they’ll be out with one flip over in bed. I’m 71 and still can flip my mattress and lift it for making a bed. Sorry I think a non daily bed maker created this.

I was only 10 when this happened and never was aware of it. This isn’t ancient history. It needs to be told over and over, along with stories of the holocaust, and the internment camps, and so many more atrocities in this country of the past and currently.

I had the hard measles as a kid but not the German measles. I had two babies and was pg with the 3rd before anyone checked for antibodies. I went ahead and got it after he was born. At that time people were happy to get the MMR for their kids so it wasn’t going around.

Yes it is a thing. It’s used when the cancer has been removed. Sometimes there is a spill and there isn’t cancer detected in the area but it may be in the body system or lymph glands were involved. Preventive cancer removes any trace of cancer in the body.

Not at all. They give you little better chances and sometimes easier recovery. Masks and fresh air are probably more helpful. I am fully vaccinated and got COVID and long COVID. One year now and I’m feeling better.

My son had gran mals and we were all told not to do anything except move stuff out of the way and make sure he was breathing. You can do more harm to them or yourself getting in there. Luckily he never had any troubles with breathing. He started using cbds and no seizures now.

The big difference was they were in Japan, not citizens of Japan. The USA interred the Japanese descendants who were USA citizens, some whose been here for many generations. They took their land and homes and put them in facilities that were substandard. Big difference.

I fell twice this. The first time I was off trail in the forest and Stepped on a twig that was over my other foot. I gave myself that one. The second time I fell hurrying to the bathroom I misjudged the small step and I landed hard and peed on myself. Sucks getting old.

I just bought a very delicately crochet bedspread at a thrift store. It probabaly took months to make. I paid $10. It fits well on my queen bed. I am glad I found it and not someone who wouldn’t appreciate it. The clerk said the family brought in many things after mother died.

I got a cold around 12/9/23 that lasted 5+ weeks. Three of I could hardly function. Tested both home and at urgent care and neg for COVID, Flu, Rsv. Diagnosed as a cold. One of the nurses told me she’d had it for several weeks. I’ve heard others say the same.

I’m still testing negative but first symptoms were sat/Sunday. Thought it was allergies but by Monday I was not feeling good at all and started to think I was sick. Yesterday was horrible and today same symptoms but not as intense. Similar to when I had it before. I’ll test again

My son’s wife died about 6 weeks ago. She was young, 54. I had come up to help with pets and house when she took a turn for the worse and died. He came home and the next day asked if I could take all her clothes and art stuff and put in bins in the garage. Id did. He couldn’t.💔

My great grandparents were in the Oklahoma land run. They had only time to start the farm & put up a barn the first year. They made a dugout and my grandmother insisted on wallpapering the dirt walls. She killed a rattler who was slithering along under the paper on the wall.

I haven’t been but most of my kids have at least a time or two. They enjoyed it. I am glad they didn’t have to deal with this sort of thing though. They have deaths and illness and even some births. I’ve heard they are equipped to handle many situations as they are this one.

I remember my mom being followed home from work. The three of us girls were actually in the car and my sisters were laying down. I just remember my mom driving around corners fast and then she pulled into a strangers driveway and shut off the lights and ducked down. It worked.

I don’t know about this school although 4.0 is a pretty low GPA for some of the more picky ones. Usually high schoolers need to have taken college courses in high school to raise their GPA to 4.5 or so. SAT scores carry a lot of weight too.

I am very pro vaccine but they are comparing apples and oranges. The total population has 21-22% who are children. None of The city workers are children. You can add or subtract bit either way it works out to 78% of all USA adults are vaccinated.

No one even mentions Kawasaki’s disease. Children who have covid 19 get it at a high rate. It does damage to the arteries leading to the heart and can cause years or a lifetime of heart issues. They must take Blood thinners and can’t play or be in sports. Keep schools closed.

One thing about getting old is people don’t ask if you will hold their baby and for good reason. They are wiggly and sometimes heavy for us old folks. I prefer to sit if I’m holding a baby or kids. Even my own great grands.

I remember the two scenes that broke my heart. One was a young officer being crushed by a door. He cries of pain were ignored. Another of a police officer being beaten with the flag pole. Over and over and over. I am not sure if he’s the one they were pepper spraying. So sad

As a vegan sometimes you do have to pretend you have an allergy and have a special diet to assure the fish oil, dairy, eggs, chicken broth, etc aren’t added. Or if traveling saying this is special food for my diet when you carry 8 packages of vegan cheese. Using ignorance helps.

I had a friend who had an Aquarius party every year. There was always awesome live music (tabla drumming, reggae, Irish folk). One year at midnight it turned to my birthday, February 6, and one of the musicians played me happy birthday on the fiddle. Amazing convos, drinks, etc.
