@RobPlaister Anyone who understands the economics of transport knows it’s a non-starter. Adderley Park expansion at the north end and Digbeth metro extension along the south of the Sports Quarter. That is what the area deserves.

@d3anr Ok, I hope for your sake you don't walk around Brum loathing the bits of beautiful old architecture our city has remaining, simply because Villa happened to use some locally sourced clay-rich bricks.

@d3anr Yes, the Holte End is red brick. Villa Park also has a roof - shall we not have one of those too?

@d3anr Tend not to obsess about them over the Expressway, so I'm not really seeing claret in any of these designs - just the hallmarks of the city's great past.

@enablerbcfc @RyanKilleen In addition to building an integrated rail/trams/bus system, then of course, do what you want. But a tunnel alone won’t solve the transport issues of an area that is due to be used 24/7 as a destination quarter in the city!
