James Harden changed the way the game of basketball is taught, played, and officiated. Yet his legacy might never be fully appreciated because of ring culture.
Reed Sheppard has worked out for the Hawks, Rockets, Spurs and Hornets, per
@DraftExpress
().
Houston is viewed as Sheppard’s likely landing spot with Charlotte as his floor at No. 6.
Sheppard is regarded as one of the best shooting prospects in years.
The most cap space in the league and some tantalizing trade assets have set the Rockets up to have a big summer, as the enter “Phase 2” of their rebuild.
Tomorrow at 5 PM, we’ll know exactly what direction Rafael Stone and Ime Udoka are taking this team, but for now let’s play
@Spinmove11
Offense was always going to be a work in progress, I’d hoped he took some of the criticisms about his physicality personally but he just refuses to do any actual center things.
He doesn’t make contact on screens, doesn’t crash the glass, can’t seal smaller defenders, it’s just
I’m taking it a step further, I’d argue Harden’s understanding and subsequent manipulation of the zero step has had the most impact on basketball development in my lifetime

I get one of the fan accounts dropping this, but a reporter who you’re potentially gonna see in the post-game media scrum calling you trash straight up gotta be weird to deal with
99% sure this is engagement bait but I’ll bite
1. The Rockets own the nets future, we aren’t “desperate for Mikal”, getting Mikal just amplifies the value of the 2025 pick (which you can’t trade until draft night since it’s a swap)
2. The Nets have zero path to be anything more
I know
@KevinOConnorNBA
said Nets/Houston have dicussed pick
#3
and Nets have given no indication they want to trade Mikal but if Houston really wants him. It has to look something like this where we dry them of everything they have.
I will continue to say it bro. If you showed a random person who never watched the sport everyone’s career highlights, they’d walk away saying Kyrie the greatest.
Jalen Green has quietly been one of the better on-ball defenders at the guard position this year. And no this not an opinion, this is cold hard facts.
He is 85th percentile in guarding the rim, and top 15 among guards in PPP allowed at the rim.
He is 72nd Percentile guarding
ESPN Sources: Houston Rockets center Alperen Sengun has escaped major injury on his lower right leg, suffering a severely sprained ankle and a bone bruise on his knee. Sengun’s been one of breakout stars in the league this year, averaging 21 points, nine rebounds, five assists.
In conclusion, stay patient with him. Trust his work ethic and that this coaching staff will exhaust every resource in this process. It may not be exactly what we want; but I promise you he is becoming a better basketball player and the results will show soon.

OKC is littered with them and it’s makes
Coleman Hawkins is the new age 4, a connective passer who vastly improved as a floor spacer this past year. His feel and unselfishness should help him slot in a contending team’s rotation very early on in his career.

Billy Preston, Kahlil Whitney, Sam Williamson, EJ Montgomery, Bryce Thompson, Malik Newman, and Dwayne Bacon were all supposed to be successful NBA players man
1. We are not in the same position as OKC
2. All of our core 6 players, even the one you don’t like, has double the value of Josh Giddey
3. This is an indictment on the Bulls willingly giving up arguably the most valuable role player on the market, for someone who even OKC fans
Our GM over values players and keeps them too long forcing them to work, depreciating their value & Presti admits he was wrong & goes & gets the best role player in the league.
Will never be a serious team as long as him & his attachment issues are in the way.
Starting off with nothing but praise for the season Alperen Sengun has had so far. He’s made the 3rd largest jump in PPG so far this year (+6.5) and he’s done this while maintaining the same level of efficiency and decreasing his turnover rate.
His mechanics are damn near flawless lol, guide hand off early, elbow not too far tucked in, shoots through his forehead but I’ve seen him lower his release point to increase his range. He fr got a coaches kid and hoop group jumper (shoutout
@khihavinn
)
You can say you don’t
If Sheppard is only a slightly above average 3 point shooter at his height, it’s pretty much a guarantee it’ll be hard for him to be a key role player imo. Call me a skeptic but a guy who shoots like this isn’t going to be the absolute marksman people think he will.
In Conclusion, Alperen Sengun is great. Just how great he’ll become long term all depends on how quickly he improves his processing when being doubled, continued improvements as a floor spacer, and added strength to aid him on both sides of the ball. The great news is that he’s
Ware had the best combine we’ve ever seen from a center prospect, actually has shown shooting touch, protects the rim and averaged 16/10 with some of the worst guard play I’ve ever seen.
Why do y’all want Clingan over him again?
I’m probably the biggest Jalen Green defender in this community, but lord.
Jalen Green himself would tell you if he was 80% of what he was in March from November-February, we would’ve comfortably been in the playoffs.
Jalen Bridges is better then all of us think. The 6’7 wing showed off his C/S ability and defensive chops this past year with Baylor, but as you dig through the tape you begin to see the potential he has as a self-creator. A very intriguing player who could potentially scale up
In conclusion, Jabari Smith Jr has proven one thing to everyone. He’s a legitimate NBA Starter on both ends of the floor. His true floor has been discovered and it now allows for the front office to properly evaluate him and his fit long term.
A 6’10 Floor-Spacer, with the
