Loved watching my guys handle adversity last night!! Was fun just sitting back watching them pull together and make the right plays when they needed to!! Special group of young men!! It’s their team now, I’m just along for the ride!!
Proud of my dude
@kade_unseld
plays on a top 5 team in the state and averages 10 points and 5 rebounds and never complains about shots or minutes. 6’5 and still growing, but keeps the main thing the main thing and that’s his academics!! Academic all district!
2023 G Damarion Walkup of Warren Central is one of the most UNDERRATED players in the state of Kentucky. Athletic player that can score at all 3 levels. He is a tough, hard nosed player that can contribute to a Division 1 program.

College coaches!! Dre Boyd 6’3 195 guard is available. Dre averaged 18ppg 8rpg and scored 1,420 points and had 843 rebounds during his career. Dre is a full qualifier 2.9 GPA and 22 ACT. He’s a WINNER!!
Dragon Nation, make sure you come out and support our young men Tuesday night at 7. Only our 2nd home game of the season. Their crazy coach only scheduled them one home game through the first 18 games. Let's pack the gym!
One of the best to play at Warren Ce tral. I had the pleasure of being on the coaching staff for 3 of his years at Central. Was an unbelievable teamate; all he wanted to do was win!! Will be truly missed!!
Sad news from former Warren Central basketball coach Tim Riley: Nick Britt, who played in Sweet 16 four years in row for Dragons, passed away today at 28 from various health problems. Freshman on 2004 state title team; soph on 2005 state runner-up; senior on final four team. RIP
Played our pick up games to 4 yesterday. A defensive stop was worth 1 point and was the only way they could score. Funny thing is they started thinking about shot selection and valued each offensive possession more.
In our final scrimmage of the preseason we went 18-39 from 3 and had 28 assist.
Walkup 28pt 11rb 5st
Whitney 26pt 9rb 4ast
Unseld 22pt 6rb 7ast 4st

8th Grade Action: Moss Middle School cruised past Butler County tonight and I came away impressed by 6’0 G Kade Unseld who knocked down a trio of 3 balls and had 10 points in limited minutes! Unseld has 140 career made 3s in middle school!
@will323012
The game is definitely moving towards guys who know how to play real basketball, and moving away from guys who just look good in the layup line. Some get it and some don’t!!
The NBA is no longer about who the freakiest athletes are anymore
Guys like Ty Jerome are all over the league now and they got there with pace, IQ, and ultimate skill
Young players need to live in the gym
Must be an ELITE shooter, dribbler, and passer
To my guys! Take a listen! It’s not ME but WE! This adversity we are going thru is going to make you better young men and better teammates. You will be better in life because you looked at adversity as a challenge. Except it and push thru. Love you!
College coaches Warren Centrals open gym schedule this week is Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday at 5:30pm. We can also workout Friday as well. We have players for all levels!!

The 2022 Warren Central football season comes to an end in the opening round of the 4A playoffs at Madisonville. What a season it has been. From ending the streak to earning their first playoff appearance in 5 years, things are definitely on the up swing at WCHS!
Big time shoutout to my man
@EstersJason
