@ConservEvidence @Bill_Sutherland @Cambridge_Uni I think it would be a good idea to renationalise the parts of the process outsourced to agents, consultants and other self serving parties who donāt put nature first in their advice and decision making.

@pjcantwell76 One hopes they will be more deterred by the vertical slats added to the existing fencing. Sadly some dog owners can be hard things to teach.

@herdyshepherd1 āGold rush fuelled by bullshitā. Spot on. You could have added āand pedalled by shystersā. I buy some of philosophy, but the new industry is being taken over by the self serving. Nature still not coming out on top.

@DavidWebbTweet @gow_derek David this has gone a bit off topic and silly (because you donāt know what youāre talking about). So this is where I dip out. Have a good day.

@DavidWebbTweet @gow_derek Iād love to do that, if the opportunity ever arose. A grand ambition in terms of priorities. Though it doesnāt have to be 50% of the land area for each, itās the consideration that needs to be equitable.

@DavidWebbTweet @gow_derek Yes I do David. Quite obviously that is a farms purpose, but there should be room for nature as well, and that should receive the same care and attention as food growing. Live trees and dead trees offer very different resources. Both are needed.

@DavidWebbTweet @gow_derek Hi David, for what itās worth Iād say itās pretty hard to say whatās going on here, what the motivations are or the objectivesā¦ā¦but in any case removing dead and dying trees isnāt a good thing, from a bats perspective, or anything else.
