I appreciate the input! 2 things: 1. Luckily, some further research led to a new Podrace setup that has a MUCH more lenient angle range, making it viable even without angle viewer 2. Discussion will continue in the runnerbase for a solution on angle viewer for other tricks :)

@SolarsonTK This is true, but I will say that this same logic can be applied to something like splicing. Sure, you can't tell someone is doing it (assuming they are competent), but it's still not allowed, which is why I see the 'you can't tell' argument to be a fallacy in a way

Update 2: Got my stitches removed and upgraded to a real cast. I tragically have even less range of motion now. Wearing this for 3-4 weeks

Only concern is that I definitely don't have the resources to do that yet. I think events, especially on the east coast where they are lacking, is so important to the health of speedrunning communities, so I hope we don't enter a drought

Luckily Manhattan is pretty local, so I will continue going to GSA events, including PACE if it ever returns :)

This saves about a full minute to the old pod fraud setup, and it has not been humanly done, but it hasn’t been tested much. I don’t really know if it will be viable yet. Starting the year off right :)
