I feel like there’ll be an open ending after Agatha fight with Rio in ep8. And then they’ll give us agathario flashback and their kiss (but in flashback) in ep9.
In that way, you can’t say it’s a good ending. but technically it does fit what Aubrey said “gay explosion at the end”
