Solo-hosting a 6-hr broadcast alongside a complex live event, conducting multiple interviews, vamping, running the back-end infra for the entire tourney: it's hard to imagine anyone doing all this, but John does it (and more) with aplomb #intangibles

Fun facts to make you go 😲 or 🤯 or 😵💫: 🔹 50% of in-person solvers had never been to a crossword tourney before (including the 4th place finishers in both divisions) 🔹 ...and 46% of them chose the harder final puzzle 🔹 The fastest online solve of the day was 76 seconds
