Congratulations to Brayden DeLattre (WVHS 2021). He graduated in 3 1/2 years from ISU with a degree in Mechanical Engineering and a minor in Manufacturing! Brayden is the son of Will and Susan DeLattre. Anyone that knows Brayden isn’t surprised by this one bit. Nicest kid ever!

American Legion State Finals: Round 2 John E. Heyen Post 501 0 Wayne Newton Post 346 6 Final Post 501 ends their season with a State Finals appearance. It was a great inaugural season for these kids. THANK YOU to everyone at Post 501 & everyone else that made it happen

Post 501 plays their second game today with NO errors! John E. Heyen Post 501 7 Clay County Post 2 1 Final. Colton Enyeart with the pitching win. 7 innings pitched, 1 run, 5 k’s in the complete game win for Colton. Dailey was 2-3 RBI; Rogers was 1-3 2 RBI; Enyeart 1-3 RBI.

There will be a 2nd round of Middle School baseball tryouts! West Vigo Middle School baseball tryouts for the 2025 season will be on Thursday, July 25 at 6:00pm. Tryouts will be at the West Vigo High School field. Any incoming 6th, 7th & 8th graders are welcome to try out.
