@ClarkyDrums @WelshRugbyUnion More international and regional games than the Welsh equivalent in the past 4 years. Glasgow won the URC last season. Scotland have outperformed Wales in 5 of the last 6 Six Nations.

@Gar3th_0w3n86 @WelshRugbyUnion People will not watch $hit rugby. If that is what the regions are producing then people will not pay their hard earned to watch it. Also, despite some people thinking their opinion is somehow more valid than others, people can give their opinion and watch what they like.

@Deano_J85 @ClarkyDrums @WelshRugbyUnion Well we can strap in for 5 more years of regional and international mediocrity and losing rugby then. By the end of that term the need for change will be obvious to everybody.

@Gar3th_0w3n86 @WelshRugbyUnion Other nations have grown. They have left the Welsh teams behind. Where do you think the WRU get more funds to make the regions competitive?

@Deano_J85 @ClarkyDrums @WelshRugbyUnion The success you talk of was under Gatland though. You can't have it both ways. WRU just simply don't have the money to improve the regions as they stand. Change is needed.

@Deano_J85 @ClarkyDrums @WelshRugbyUnion Are you happy then Deano? Do you think it is as simple as get rid of Gatland and his staff and we'll start conquering all once again?

@jeffdyeruk @WelshRugbyUnion It does. If it is as simple as changing coaches and management within the regions and it produces talent again then all good. You get what you pay for though. Run the regions on a shoestring and you'll produce very little in my opinion.

@e_thornburrow @WelshRugbyUnion The WRU created this shambles. The money isn't there to fund 4 competitive regions. I'd go with West and East based out of Swansea and Cardiff and fund the level below that better, feeding into those two. As it stands they step into squads that are getting beaten most weeks.

@Deano_J85 @ClarkyDrums @WelshRugbyUnion We won it with a golden generation of talent. If tussling for the wooden spoon with Italy the last dew years doesn't tell you anything then it never will. Dragons are nothing short of a joke.

@TerracerSouth @WelshRugbyUnion I'd half agree but would we be looking to reduce it again in a few years time?

@Deano_J85 @ClarkyDrums @WelshRugbyUnion Less wooden spoons than Wales in the last 4 years. They'll have finished above Wales in 5 of the last 6 Six Nations. 4 regions does not work, not for the regions or the national team.

@ClarkyDrums @WelshRugbyUnion Last time I checked both Scotland and Italy seem to be out performing us regionally and internationally.

@jeffdyeruk @WelshRugbyUnion You fund the game better at the level below the two regions. We might even be able to sign some top quality imports that might be Welsh qualified in a few years too. The regions, funded as they are, are failing and getting beaten most weeks.

@WelshLoz @seanalf @WelshRugbyUnion It is nonsense. Run the regions on life support and making up the numbers in the URC and this is what you get. I'd scrap the cap rule too. Keeping them at failing regions is damaging many a player's potential.

@seanalf @WelshRugbyUnion As opposed to trudging on with 4 regions who get beaten most weeks and produce this pool of players. They're used to being beaten and beaten regularly. As for reduce the support, the crowds aren't that great at regional level across the board. The WRU cannot afford 4.
