🤔 I'm not sure this will be my forever home, but for now, I'm also on Mastodon for anyone who is into that. 🔥 Worse case I will mirror my tweets, and best case I will eventually run my own identity server, but for now:

@samuel_colvin Yes, no follow-up is needed or expected. I showed Pydantic AI to a client today, and they were excited. Good stuff!

@samuel_colvin The one issue I ran into wasn't quite worth reporting yet. Something with Ollama parsing a List(BaseModel) which returns a list of Parsed(BaseModel)s. I suspect it's a series of edge cases. Everything was 100% better/easier to maintain code. Good work.

@stauffermatt @VicVijayakumar @jwthieman A dental hygienist friend told me that metal cups + straps were booming for business. Tongue rings used to be, but they don't see as many these days.

@LeviABx Its pretty rare these days that I see one, but I haven’t seen a double mask in years. Seeing someone in Mizzou or Nebraska gear is more common.

@daniel_nguyenx @schrepfler @codewrangler_ I can confirm that 64GB on an M2 Mac Studio isn't enough. It will run it but it swaps and takes 1+ minutes per request. You need >64 GB to run it. I'd go 128 GB or maybe 96 if that's the only option.

@willmcgugan I, for one, get a ton out of Rich and appreciate all of your efforts. 99% of my usage is print() + color codes and ya. It's one of two or three libraries I install by default.

@DjangoTricks I think that speaks to Python 3.13 being days old. I was surprised that I could launch a Django websites using 3.13 (and UV) rather uneventually. It's also really cool to be able to call Django directly via `uv run --with=django django-admin --version` from basically anywhere.

@shazow AI Event sponsorship has been on their website for a year or two. I think using it as an excuse to fundraise to make a fairly flat Open Source AI guidance/definition is a bad look.

@shazow It's a great idea. Sadly, OSI has moved on to fundraising for AI. Not that I'm against AI, but I expected OSI to have something to say about these recent events, but 🦗s

@fwiles @epicserve @vivaldibrowser I tried Arc back when DjangoCon US was in San Diego. I get why people like it, but it reminds me of when Mozilla was a web browser and had some weird UI quirks. It's not my jam, but Vivaldi fits my need for Chrome minus Google until something else comes along.
