ONE STORM AT A TIME, PLEASE! As soon as the current snowstorm exits West Michigan (overnight), we turn our eyes to the next one, arriving Friday night, extending through Saturday. More accumulations likely. Then, an Arctic shot next week. Whew! 🥶❄️☃️ #WeatherAlert

Took a little while to arrive, but the snow is definitely making its presence known. The view from Holland + a map showing reduced visibilities across the area. Expect travel challenges tonight, snow may be heavy at times. Team coverage with @WillWWMT & @Collin_WWMT starts at 5!

Tuesday was the coldest max temperature we've had so far this month. Fun fact: Did you know that it's been nearly three weeks since Kalamazoo measured an inch or more of snow in a day? That's going to change today! @JeffPorterWX updates today's snowy outlook LIVE through 9 a.m.

High confidence that we'll see several inches of snow from a storm arriving tomorrow (Wednesday) afternoon. Latest guidance from @NWSWPC shows high probability of at least 4". From @NWSGrandRapids: up to a foot possible for some with 1"/hr rates. @Collin_WWMT is LIVE at noon.

Not much to see in today's #almanac. But, check out the record low set in Kalamazoo on the date in 1912: one of the coldest temps on record. Also, check out the spread between the record high and the record low. At 84 degrees, it's one of the widest you'll find on the calendar.

Thursday's big weather news was a reminder that it doesn't take a lot of ice to create very hazardous conditions! Accretions of ice were at or less than one-tenth of an inch. #almanac
